As an IT Operations Specialist (m/f/x) at payever, your role is overseeing the company's IT operations and infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our IT systems and services.
In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute IT strategies that are aligned with our business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and software applications.
Your key responsibilities will revolve around managing the performance and availability of our IT systems, ensuring compliance with security standards and protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
As an IT Operations Specialist (m/f/x) at payever, you will lead skilled IT professionals. You will provide guidance, support, and technical expertise while prioritizing and delegating tasks. In this role, your day will look something like this
Monitoring and maintaining the performance, availability, and security of IT systems, networks, and applications.
Responding to and resolving technical incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
Conducting system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem resolution to ensure uninterrupted system functionality.
Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
Implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure and systems in alignment with best practices and security standards.
Automating operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
Conducting regular system audits, performance monitoring, and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance.
Assisting in the planning, testing, and implementation of system upgrades and migrations.
Documenting processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Staying updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT operations.
Who you are
Computer Science academic background
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in managing and documenting IT processes.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and quickly learn new tools and systems.
Understanding of IT security principles and compliance requirements.
